Currently, Jelle is focused on CO-LAB, a performance collective of Latin American and European artists. In the summer of 2020, the collective created BLUE, a live dance piece performed by two dancers and a musician. The project was born out of a need for artistic dialogue, as a kind of nostalgia for a live encounter and a physical dialogue with another body. Inspired by the "blue hour" BLUE exists in the moment of transition from day to night, but it is also a state of nostalgia, of melancholy. The piece wants to reshape public spaces and reach out to a live audience in times of the worldwide pandemic that keeps us apart.
